Jeremy Brooks at a Burlington School Committee meeting

RE-ELECTION — BURLINGTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE — APRIL 11, 2026

ACCOUNTABILITY.
DISCIPLINE.
RESULTS.

Three years of transparent governance, fiscal oversight, and safety leadership for Burlington Public Schools. Re-elect Jeremy Brooks — April 11.

SEE WHAT I'VE DELIVERED

THREE YEARS OF RESULTS

FISCAL DISCIPLINE

20-Year Capital Plan

Championed Burlington’s first 20-year facilities plan — expanding the old 10-year framework to project lifecycle costs and protect taxpayers from budget surprises. This plan integrates school replacements, field maintenance, and major capital needs into one living document.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Governance with Integirty

Pushed for independent investigation and full accountability when student survey procedures weren't followed. Advocated for proper agenda notice and policy compliance on all committee actions. Withheld support on measures until replacement standards were clearly defined. Accountability isn't about disagreement, it's about making sure the process works for everyone.

SAFETY

School Safety Liaison

Appointed as the committee’s first-ever Safety Committee Liaison after students raised concerns about knife threats and malfunctioning panic buttons. Advocated for $54,800 in emergency system upgrades and work to modernize decade-old security infrastructure across all schools.
