20-Year Capital Plan

Championed Burlington’s first 20-year facilities plan — expanding the old 10-year framework to project lifecycle costs and protect taxpayers from budget surprises. This plan integrates school replacements, field maintenance, and major capital needs into one living document.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Governance with Integirty

Pushed for independent investigation and full accountability when student survey procedures weren't followed. Advocated for proper agenda notice and policy compliance on all committee actions. Withheld support on measures until replacement standards were clearly defined. Accountability isn't about disagreement, it's about making sure the process works for everyone.

SAFETY

School Safety Liaison

Appointed as the committee’s first-ever Safety Committee Liaison after students raised concerns about knife threats and malfunctioning panic buttons. Advocated for $54,800 in emergency system upgrades and work to modernize decade-old security infrastructure across all schools.

WHO I AM

THE DAD

Dad to Lillian & Madelyn at Pine Glen Elementary. When I vote on budgets, safety upgrades, or curriculum changes, my own kids are directly affected. That’s my accountability when I go home every night.

THE VETERAN

Retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, a rank earned by only 2% of Airmen. 24 years of service. Managed teams of up to 219 members and defense acquisitions up to $250M. The discipline carries over.

THE EXECUTIVE

Senior Product Manager in defense technology. BS in Management & Technology from Bowling Green State, Cornell Business Analytics certification, CompTIA Security+. I read budgets and contracts for a living.
